This pipe stem fragment was discovered on the north side of the house between the sycamore tree and the brick sidewalk.
This pipe stem fragment was discovered off the southwest corner of the house about 50-60 feet, between the magnolia tree and the tree line. This pipe is believed to have been made in Virginia due to the red clay.
Unknown objects found in the flower garden about 15 feet apart on the northeast side of the large magnolia tree. I pictured them together because I believe they are both from an old lantern.
This iron handle was found north of the circle drive on the east side of the large oak tree.
Late 19th to early 20th century mystery item was my first impression of this find, but I have one archaeologist telling me its a door handle probably mid 19th century. One side has an unusual lead handle that has been smashed, and on the other side of the latch a make shift handle perhaps. This item was found in the northwest corner of the field just south of the driveway (zone 4).
Swinging Brass key hole cover from a pad lock, inscribed Patent. This was dug between the tall magnolia and the trampoline.
