This relic strongly resembles the receiving end of a confederate soldiers Knapp sack hook. This was found in the southwest corner of the property southeast of the sycamore tree, in the tree line.
This harmonica reed was found immediately east of the building ruins on the west side of the house. This is believed to be just outside the entrance to the building that stood there. The harmonica was the instrument of choice for slaves and soldiers alike, one can only imagine who played it and the music it made.
